The solar storm intensifies before it leaves

The solar storm which is currently over the Earth has intensified its quantitative magnitude. This results on some locks on the high radial frequency, and therefore an augmentation on the geopositioning (GPS) margin error.

Although this solar storm is not one of the strongest ever known, it cannot be said it has affected to our planet's geoeffectivity, due to the magnetic field's orientation. This peak has resulted on a rise on its grade fto a grade 3 (G3) out of 5. The GPS is the most affected by this peak. Also, aurora borealis could been seen on Seattle (Washington) and Sheridan (Wyoming).

This kind of solar storms are due to solar cycles happening every 11 years, in which the Sun reaches a maximum magnetic activity. When this happens, the Earth's magnetic field is deformed and even passed through. The maximum peak is planned to reach our planet some time on 2013
