A new an impressive image take by the radio-telescope APEX reveals the details from the nearest place to the Earth where start likely to our sun are being formed
The space between the stars is full of huge amounts of gas (normaly hidrogen) wich forms the interestellar clouds. With the gas, some clouds have a small amount of interstellar dust within, this clouds are refered as dark cloud, because the dust blocks the light.
In Taurus constellation, can be finded some of the nearest dark clouds. They are massive clouds wich can only produce stars fairly similar to our sun or even lighter.
The importance of these observations, is that they allow by the study of the clouds, to understand better how our sun was formed, because is here (in Taurus) where observation can reach the highest precision
